TYPES OF VISA YOU CAN GET AT EMBASSY OF SPAIN IN NIGERIA

  1. Short term Visa – This is type of visa that enables you to stay in Spain for a maximum of 90 days. Such as Tourist visa, Medical visa, Business visa, Family visa, Conference and Events Visas.
  2. Long term visa – This type enable the holder to remain in Spain for up to 6 months. Such as Working visa, Student visa and Family reunion visa.

STANDARD PROCEDURE FOR PROCESSING OF SPANISH VISA IN NIGERIA

The following are the ways to process Spanish Visa in Nigeria

  • Download online the Spanish visa application form.
  • Complete the form correctly, let it be duly signed by you in blue or black point ink.
  • Attach the following documents:
  1. Your International passport with at least 3 months validity and 3 unused pages.
  2. Two recently acquired passport sized photograph, with white background.
  3. As directed by Embassy of Spain in Nigeria a Sworn Declaration is a document to be attached to the Visa Application form
  4. A signed statement letter from you, stating the reason and purpose of your to Spain. This includes your itinerary.
  5. If you’re going for tourism you should provide
    (a) Airline booking indicating the departure and arrival dates
    (b) Hotel booking indicating your entire stay in Spain.
  6. If you’re visiting family
    (a) Letter of invitation issued by ” Policia Nacional de Espana”
    (b) Duly signed photocopy of passport and residence of the head of family inviting you in Spain.
  7. Photocopies of all pages of your previous visas in your passport.
  8. Travel health insurance, with a minimum of €30,000, covering all Schengen area.
  9. For underage person,(under 18yrs) the parent’s must sign the visa application form and include the data page of their passports or national identity card, sealed by a notary public.
  10. Your original 3 months bank account statement signed and sealed by the Bank authority.
  11. Confirmation of status: A married woman must produce a marriage certificate and a child visiting father, (vice versa) birth certificate.
  12. 13. An employee going on holiday must produce the following documents
    (a) Letter of introduction from employer.
    (b) Last three months pay slips.
  13. A foreigner legally residing in Nigeria must produce his residence permit.
  14. A foreigner legally residing in Nigeria must produce his residence permit.

After the collation of all the essential visa requirements you have to submit them personally at Spain Embassy in Nigeria Visa application centre in Lagos.

Please note the following points at the Visa Application Centre

  4. The visa fee is non refundable.
  5. All the original documents you’re submitting must come with a set of photocopies.
