HOW TO APPLY FOR THAILAND VISA IN NIGERIA

Regardless of the category of visa you’re applying for, the following documents are the standard requirements by the embassy of Thailand in Nigeria for any ordinary intending travellers originating from Nigeria.

  1. An International passport with at least 6 months validity and unused visa pages
  2. An application form carefully filled and signed
  3. Four recently acquired passport sized photograph
  4. Original certificate of clearance obtain from Nigeria National Drug Law Enforcement Agency
  5. Obtain a certificate of criminal clearance from Nigeria police.
    (Note that you will pay service charges at NDLEA and Nigeria Police to obtain the certificates)
  6. Submit a duly signed original copies of your Bank account details from your bank, and a reference letter issued and signed by the Bank authority.
  7. Present a letter of reference from your company, indicating your designation, your present salary, how long you’ve stayed with the company. If self-employed your financial status, and tax returns must be attached.
  8. Letter of invitation from your business partner in Thailand, stating your reasons for visit and your relationship. If you’re visiting a relation a letter of invitation is  required from the person
  9. Original international health certificate of yellow fever vaccination
  10. Confirmed return ticket
  11. Address and the telephone number of your business associate
  12. Confirmed hotel reservation
    Note that the documents you’re submitting must be certified by the notary public and the Nigeria Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  1. Complete and signed the visa application
  2. Submit all the required documents
  3. Be sure all the required documents are genuine
  4. Get date of invitation for an interview by the embassy
  5. Pay the non refundable visa fee
  6. Allow five working days for the embassy to process your visa application
